• Successful 2011 meeting for IACME

The 2012 IACME Fall Meeting and Education Expo will be Friday and Saturday, November 2-3, 2012 at the Sheraton West Des Moines. The IACME Board of Directors, including Program Chair Dennis Klein, MD, have already started planning next year's program.
The speaker handouts from this year's program will be available indefinitely in the Fall Meeting section of the web site.
• Educational Credit for Physicians and Investigators
The 2011 IACME Fall Meeting was approved for 10.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. The ABMDI will accept these hours for medical investigators who attended the IACME Fall Meeting and Education Expo. All you need to do is send in your Certificate of Participation (you received one in your IACME Fall Meeting packet) and the CME statement showing how many hours were granted by the AMA.
IACME 2012 dues statements will be mailed to members and prospective members in January.
Anyone who does not pay 2012 IACME dues by March 31, 2012 will NOT be eligible for the member discount when registering for the 2012 IACME Fall Meeting and Education Expo, even if dues are paid after March 31.
The IACME Board of Directors approved this existing IACME Bylaws policy on advice of attorneys exploring the organization’s structure and legal status.
• Attention: Physician members of IACME
If you are a physician who belongs to IACME and also the Iowa Medical Society, you can designate IACME as your representative group at the April, 2012 IMS House of Delegates.
